Boy I’m happy that your insurance covered the damage. I would of thought that there was caveat in the policy that would of gotten the insurance company off the hook. Seems it could be a reoccurring problem.
oh and nice shot on the potential culprit, the follow up shot was brutal!!

Thanks. I expected the claim to met with the "Act of God" clause, phew.

I like to follow thru ;)

@mikehunt good job and may victory be on your side!

My first year shooting air guns I shot lots of rats and mice. Once I got the rats under control the mice started coming out.
If you have not already. May I suggest the Harbor Freight driveway sensors. Then build a little housing for it. Put your bait pile underneath. I can shoot from inside my house. I have about five different locations. I’ll hunt over one spot for a week. Then move to the next. Shots are 13 to 20 yards. And I zero my gun at the exact spot.
This photo is 17 yards out. There are 5 mice in that photo.

Down below is a rat at the same location as above. The wood structure has the motion sensor in it. You can also see my zeroing target

I now have the rat and mice population under control. I’m lucky to get one a month.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like a clear case of someone who is just looking for a reason to kill those varmints…Admit it, you crawled under your Toyota with a box knife, just so you could shoot those innocent little rodents.

I have found that the noise maker- night lights are very effective. I have them in my garage, and throughout the house.
