Would like to try and make this gun a sweet shooter, but have no clue where or what to start on first. Its bone stock other than a tko muzzle break. Any suggestions are welcome

Get a Lane or Huma regulator, gauge block from the Benjamin P-rod, upgraded high tensile valve retaining screws from Magnum Air allowing for a 3000psi fill and then you can bore out the cap for the rear tube plug/ spring retainer. Add a slightly stronger spring that's not under preload when not cocked. This will act as a anti hammer bounce device. You can also look for upgraded trigger kits. Not sure who all is making them now. Clean, maybe polish the barrel bore and you should have a nice, powerful and light target/ hunting rig.

Did you already do the 3 screwed trigger modifications and polish the trigger parts where they touch? opened the ports to about .170. l

Is the OEM spring under preload?
Is the same true for the Maximus?
Thoughts on going with a Maximus barrel, also please

Baker air gun has the trigger kits for the discovery and the Maximus and the maximus barrels are amazing.

I have the back plug to adjust the hammer, I ordered a degasser waiting for it to come in. I will find all the extra things yall suggest online and order too. Thanks for the input, this will get interesting quick lol

I also have a stock Discovery,it is accurate enough,butt has a crappie trigger that needs to go,get a better trigger,the other thing, it is a air hug,I get about 26 shots max on a fill,I would look into doing something to get more shots.....without spending much money.

I think last time I used 3 discovery valve O rings up against the back of the Valve.it is called a bstaley mod. I just set my 22 marauder up and I am getting 50 good shots on a fill!!!

A lot of good info here. You can treat the gun much like the 22xx guns as far as valve mods go so a slightly larger t-port and angle the valve port will get you a bit more power. If you don't go overboard you will not get less shots just a little more fpe. The slightly shorter slightly stronger hammer spring is a great mod for sure and one I always use. The hammer spring adjuster is a good mod for help when tuning. Here is a link that may help you with some of this.

Put a Marauder trigger on it. Single best improvement you can make to the Disco.

It is a lot of time and money for very little gain. Leave the Disco, and enjoy it for what it is. If you want a better rifle, get a nicer rifle.
