I just received my HW35E from Krale last Thursday. 3 days ago. No extra fees. I wonder if different UPS terminals do it differently.

Just had a thought. When coming back into our country from abroad each person is allowed a certain dollar amount of goods that is duty free. I wonder if WM went over this amount? Would be nice to know the magic number if indeed this is correct.

I think the number is around $2000. I wonder if these fellas are dropping decent cash on orders and not just the typical $500 gun order.

It has been so long since I came through customs, and then I and one time my wife were under military orders. When the agents saw those they just said go. I probably had close to $3000 in camera equipment the first time, then next, just one older camera.

Mine finally came in today, ten days after placing order with Krale. I don't remember how many times I sent my ID, once with the order, then several times per requests from them. I finally called and had verified that it had been received, but by that time it was Friday afternoon after placing the order the previous Sunday, so I could not ship until Monday. No mention from UPS about customs so good there, The outer box was severely damaged but inner box and the gun were ok. UPS driver suggested that we open it and look at it before I accepted the shipment.
My stock is more like a nice mid grain looking walnut, in the way the grain flows and sweeps, and color is more like that on my 1963 vintage Winchester M 70., a reddish walnut color.
I would take a picture, but weather is getting bad outside where I would take it for better lighting, we are supposed to get ice tomorrow, so it may be a few days before I can do so.
