Wanted to share to newer Airguners QD adapter maintenance.

I've received occasional emails and calls from my customers with questions about their foster quick fill adapters. With them wanting a replacement QD adapter. No need to replace the whole thing. Just the o-ring inside. 😊

There is a small, on the types I use, 10x2mm o-ring deep inside that will eventually go bad. Sizing may be different on the type you have.
If you're buying the less expensive (QD) brands from eBay or Amazon. Chances are good they're not using a quality o-ring.
I replace with a Duro 90 for a little longevity.
When the o-ring goes bad. The QD will fit loose on your foster fitting is letting out the dreaded "Hisssss" of air.

Here's a close up of an o-ring in dire straights.

Before you replace it, take a cotton swab, dip it in some Balistol, clean out the QD adapter, Clean the 6 small capture bearings. Use the clean end of your cotton swab, dry out the excess, if any, debris and Balistol. Patiently insert and seat your new o-ring.
Done! Bob's your uncle.😀

Hope it helps someone out there.

Cheers,

K9
