Don't worry, I have thick skin. Ever feel like you are chasing an 8mm circle with a gun that shoots 9mm groups? My inexpensive rifle sure has been and at only 10 meters. I have some things in the works to try and tighten it up, but it sure can get frustrating. I'd hate to see what kind of group it would shoot if I had a 25 meter range

Anyway back to the normally scheduled program.

Sounds like my special edition tin of Crosman Premier Hollow Points that are endowed with BAT (bullseye avoidance technology). They will cut out the bullseye but they absolutely will not hit it. Kind of the reverse of the smart bullets in Tom Selleck’s movie Runaway.

What kinda gun is it? Maybe a different brand and or type of ammo could help?

It is a Hammerli 850. I've got some more pellets headed my way. I have an old box of creedmoor Match Pellets made by Vogel in 4.49mm that would shoot nicely, sometimes even all 10's. Then I can hear the change in the rifle when the CO2 pressure is slightly off on a shot and that is the shot that hits the 8 ring. I'll solve the pressure as my first mod on the rifle and chrony it before moving on to other variables.

I was just whining to put out some humor since I know others go through the same frustration.
