Airgun Technologies Walther Reign M2 Cons

Hello everybody! I see a lot of good reviews about Umarex Walther Reign M2, posts how good it is when someone have problems with it, like “-Mine is good, no problems, nice and short, value for money..” and like that. But i had serious problem with this rifle and asking if the Umarex is lottery: some rifles are not working properly from the box.

So here is review about cons of Reign.

“Reasons to not buy Umarex WaLther Reign M2” or “Read this before to buy “:

I have some big problem with it, new one. After 30-40 shots it started to leaking from barrel. Ok, sended it to service. They send it back to me without 1 screw, ok. The rifle still loose air from the magazine port, when shooting, ok, probably this is normal or not, I don’t know. But at least it stoped leaking when not shooting.

Also I don’t like the trigger adjustment: screwing or unscrewing those two screws of mechanism- no matter, the trigger works not good/smooth anyway. + it takes a long time to remove and put back the plastic.
-There is no degassing valve or way to empty the air tank, except of dry shooting(!) You need scuba tank to fill it from 50 bar and less. Hand pump - not enough pressure.
-Magazine: it works properly only with diabolo pellets, not slugs. With slugs the wheel is sticking, not turning good.
-You can’t separate full air tank from the rifle. Not adjustable.
And this is not all because I’m still testing this one, looks like another one “-“ will be “shots per fill”, because seems like they are much less than in the description from their website.

This is like that, not like marketing reviews with only pros on Youtube and forums.

For what it's worth...buying ANY...air gun is drawing from a lottery !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leakage, mis-machined parts, bent, broken, etc., etc.

I just bought a semi-expensive (much more money than your Reign) gun. First fill, it leaked to "empty" in a day and a half. It continues to leak 6 or 7 weeks out.

For me just on the surface the draw back that would keep it out of even consideration for me is value for money. From what I remember it is actually quite pricey, north of 500. It’s an un regulated umarex gun. There is a world of better out there in today’s market for 500-600 dollars.

So if you spend more for known, quality brands, proven through actual useage. We are drawing from a lottery? I don’t gamble and seriously dislike the thought that paying good money on high quality airguns is but a ”gamble”. Understanding of course that any product can fail… Umarex cannot even begin to compare with the top tier airgun brands…🙏

I see. So product 600 euro “Made in Germany” is lottery now. Like product “Made in China” OK.
Can you tell us please which gun it is?

MY interpretation of this is that no matter what you buy no mater how much you pay their is always a chance of getting a "dud"
My opinion is the more adjustable the gun you buy the more chance of something being wrong .
