Walther LGV vs R9/HW95 Tell me what I am missing!

I really feel like I missed the boat on the Walther LGV. Wishing I’d gotten around to buying one in .22, I have practically brainwashed myself watching YouTube videos where the gun appears to be the least sensitive springer ever built. So if you have both an R9 and a LGV, please tell me how they compare!

Wish I could compare them. My r9 is a full custom tune, shroud, stock from macarri. Great gun to shoot.



Unfortunately don't own the LGV.

About 3 pounds, though the LGV may be a bit more accurate, the better all-around springer is the R9..now if I am just shooting off the bench that extra weight will not be a problem,also the LGV is a couple$$ more.....

So I do not think you are missing anything unless you want a better bench rest springer,now do not get me wrong I also lusted for a LGV,in the end I am glad I did not get one.

I agree completely. I have a LGU Varmint.22. which is top shelf of my few. Smooth and accurate. Good luck Crow

I have the LGV in .177 and it shoots circles around my R9 in .177. As Boscoebrea said it is considerably heavier so the R9 is a much better “mobile” rifle. I would absolutely still jump on a .22 LGV if one crosses my path
