Walther LGV tuning trigger

I got my tuning trigger down to 1lb 8oz with very little ouer travel, very nice clean break. Now is there any way to lose another 8 ounces? The way it is you could say borderline dangerous but that's okay just shooting paper in a controlled environment. I'm getting under 1/4 in groups at 25 yards when I do my part but I want more, 1 lb trigger could get under 1/8 I hope

I'm wondering if the possibility of sub .25" groups at 25 yds with a springer (Which is QUITE GOOD) with a self described saftey issue, are worth that much risk. Are You shooting competitively?
I spent some time dialing in the stock plastic trigger (Which I like.) on my .177 LGU and it is light, safe and predictable. I just lengthened the 1st stage screw and took my time. Would like to get a good trigger gauge soon, just to know where things stand.
Getting back to safety, Not to impune Your skills at trigger tuning, but poor adjustment can go bad quickly...regardless of good intent. Just be Careful! Just my .02
Mike.

Not a problem as far as risk, this is strictly a backyard target gun if there were a accidental discharge there is no danger no one or thing down range. I'm just trying to see what this gun is capable of 1/4 in is common and I do get the occasional 1/8 in 5 shot group. But from what I'm being told buy folks that know a lower pull weight is dictated by the spring, that limited what I can do with the power setup I have.

"broachoski"I shortened the sear return spring on a couple of LGU's which have the same setup. That's the screw on the bottom, behind the trigger. I don't recall how much I cut off but think was about 3/16 inch then screwed in the screw until spring tension was just enough to insure that the sear would fully reset. My units are now around 6-8 ounces.

6 to 8 ounces is amazing in a springer. I have a 12fpe setup what power are you running to get that light of a pull weight?
