Broke it out early this morning and shot a ten 
shot group at 25 yards. Amazing rifle! JSB 10.34's. All under the penny.

Can you comment on the trigger? I assume you have the non- tuning trigger. I have read a lot about it ranging from excellent to sub par! I am not a trigger snob and neither need nor want a trigger in ounces, but I do want a creep free second stage and trigger weight between 1.5-2 lbs. Is that possible on the factory LGU?

Funny you should mention that. The only mod I have done is the Yankee trigger tune with a longer screw. It has worked excellent. Google lgu Yankee trigger tune and it will take you to the article.

Nice my LGV groups so tight after the first 3 or 4 shots the next 7 or 8 just go through the tiny hole not touching paper, almost boring

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I was always leery of buying the Walther because of the trigger issue and I definitely didn't want to disassemble a new springer. I think you just tipped me over in getting the LGU.

I have an LGU and did the Yankee as well as the tuning trigger mods. Still in all, the trigger was no where as good as the ones in my TX200 and HW 97.
I came up with the idea that the trigger's poor showing was based on leverage. The second stage screw is too close to the sear's fulcrum, which in the case of air guns, is the pin it pivots on.
I filled in the space between the two screws on the trigger with JB weld so I could drill a new screw hole a bit further away from the trigger pin fulcrum (about 3/16 to 1/4 inch) and that was enough to gain leverage and make the LGU trigger as good as the others. That means a crisp and lite break that wasn't quite found with the other two mods.
I did have pictures that are no longer available but will post the next time I get into the gun. Here is a picture of a similar trigger mod to mine from another user. He came up with the same idea that I had by moving stage two screw further away from the sear pin and closer to the stage one screw.
