Walther LGU w/ Rowan Engineering trigger

The Walther LGU is an absolute workhorse of a rifle, and the first springer I ever bought. It's been in my collection for three years now, and I've lost count how many squirrels and rabbits have been brought to bag since. Unfortunately, the metal trigger was only available on the UK version; while the shape of the plastic blade was comfortable, the extraordinarily long first stage travel was a real bummer, so I upgraded.

Sooooooo much better. Short travel, comes up against a solid second. I have it set around 14 oz.

I recently replaced the original plastic trigger in my LGU Varmint with the Walther Tuning Trigger and it is way better than the original especially after polishing the trigger internal mating surfaces. I hear that the Rowan trigger is even better.

I was shooting my LGU Varmint this afternoon, and it is sweet. If your telling me a trigger will make that much difference, I’m all in. 
Are they hard to install for a greenhorn? Crow

Installing the Rowan trigger is a pretty straightforward affair, and the instructions are detailed with good photos.

You might want to search for Pianogun, a member here. He was making some very nice triggers for the Walther guns.

The Rowan triggers are absolutely incredible. I put one in the LGU and LGV. Night and day difference. Mine are breaking right about a pound and no creep whatsoever.

I have both a Rowan in an LGV and one from the member here in an LGU. Both are excellent, and either would provide a dramatic improvement to trigger function. I've also used a modified stock plastic trigger (screw added) and they can work very well also.
