I just picked up a Walther LG55 Gallery Gun With Electronic Shut Off for Trigger or Breach. Very wierd gun would like some history and what its worth.
What do you think its worth? I believe its to turn off the trigger.Wow! Absolutely a new one on me. I would guess that the "cut off" function somehow engages the 55's sliding auto-safety bar, but otherwise no clue.
Shoots great and the stock was definitely designed for gallery guns the hole in the back is wear it had the chain attached so people couldn't steal it.Well any functional Walther is gonna be worth a few bills, but I truly have no idea on value for such an oddball. Are the spring and seals in shootable condition?
To me the thumbhole stock is as interesting as the other features. Walther had no fear of doing short runs of oddball stocks, but I've never seen one like this. Would be interesting to know if it was strictly for gallery use, or if they also offered it for normal actions.
