waiting for the gun

The test of your patience waiting for the gun to be finished. I have a new understanding about people waiting on the list to have your gun instock. I'm waiting for a custom Huben K1 from Krazy Kool. I know Kelly is at the mercy of the machine shops. I understand that is likely a small job for them. I'm getting an itchy trigger finger, my other rifles are not filling the void of waiting. I've ordered the scope, mounts, throw lever, moderator and some heavy pellets, ready to play. Anticipation is drive me crazy, truthfully it's a short drive.

the wait is half the fun in my opinion, lol.

A lot of truth to that. When I was a kid, I worked with my father running heavy equipment. We worked 60 -100 hours a week in the Summer. He paid me 50 cents to a dollar an hour. I was a gun junkie even then, I would want a certain gun & work & save , thinking about the gun and how great it would be in my mind & brought me a lot of joy. Then the day I finally save up enough and buy it, almost immediatley I wanted another one. I came to the conclusion the real joy was working & daydreaming about it. The journey to obtain a posession is half the reward. That is why when you give something to someone & they did not work for it, you are actually stealing from them. However if you want to give me a new rifle , I won't report the theft.

I've been searching for a .177 auto, semi auto. Bought a Sk 19 in .22 and a Huben K1 in .25 to evalulate the platforms. I liked the K1 better. the performance on both are very similar, I choose the K1 for it's better looks, the SK 19 looks lie an anorexic crank whore compared to the Hubens sleek sexy looks. I asked Kelly if he could build me one in .177, he said yes. I went with his recommended suggestion of a TJ barrel, lengthened 5". I'm hoping that it's a fire breathing monster.
