Hey guys.. I see on the. 30cal ed uses the LW barrel. And the vulcan2 uses the hammer forged cz barrel... I see ed needs cleaning after a 100 rounds or so.. who do you guys think is the better ????

Apples to oranges here, But My 25 Cricket has a LW barrel, My 22 Cricket has a CZ barrel,
Both are so accurate you cant call it, Neather is pellet fussy , Now my Mutant 22 came with a Linstone barrel, un choked I think, It shoots anything, Walmart pellets to JSB , It shoots them all perfect, I bought a CZ barrel for it, 16 gr JSB only, very pellet fussy,
My Veteran 25 has a LW barrel, Likes the heavy JSB pellets ,
My Vulcan #2 in 177 has a CZ barrel, It loves the 8gr polymags and 16gr JSBs, and even the 8.26 gr JSB Wadcutters out to 48 yards,

I own taipan veteran 22 w with cz barrel and I own a cricket with CZ barrel great small bore guns , great barrels .
the taipan and the vulcan and use CZ barrels like the cricket does great barrel accurate , great 30 to 40fpe guns ;
The Edgun in 30 is a great gun alot of power and robust and easy to work on and nothing breaks,
CZ only makes .22 barrels not ,25 or 30 , I dont know about vulcan 30 but the my edgun can produce like 97fpe with huma regulator and shoots slugs sub moa with my 48 and 52 grain and will shoot about 2 moa with 61 grain ones .
P/S as far as cleaning barrel , If you wash and dry ammo and sort like me ,or make slugs a bit tight and dry , it ill require more cleaning , however , If you clean your ammo and dry and Put a drop or 2 of FP10 LUBE they wont foul barrel and ou can shoot 1000 rounds between cleaning , I found this out with my guns , I am not sure if anyone has other input but the ED-gun is super accurate .

Not true, check Vulcan 2 in .25, CZ barrel. It's not common to see a CZ in a bigger caliber, I agree, but Vulcan is using CZ now on their .25

If you lapp your barrel you'll get more shots between cleaning. A smoother bore collects less fouling, so less cleaning.

What difference should it make to the shooter? All barrels need cleaning after a lot of shooting. Both these barrels will out shoot your abilities every day of the week. It's like comparing a Cadillac to a Lincoln...both are top of their league. No matter which one you get, you are going to be pleased!
