Vulcan Tactic Then and Now

I'm wondering if that first picture was the prototype and it looks very similar to how it actually turned out.

Yeah Daxx, for sure that is either a new stock coming out, or a painted one with a longer chin rest. Wild guess my friend.

The black stock was one of the first photos released for the Tactic; Petr had it up on TGAG for weeks/months at the time. I'd just purchased the Vulcan bullpup a month or two earlier and liked the look of then upcoming black tactical rifle. Then they changed the stock design to the now current version and it greatly diminished my desire to buy the Tactic. I may end up with one out of curiosity but highly prefer the prototype black stock instead (especially when the first wood ones were shipped with a butt portion that didn't fit to the butt plate/pad and looked really bad).

I thought the prototype version looked nicer to. Then they have the stock now which is okay but still like the first one more.

Um... they really don't look that different.
I am not 100% clear on the benefits of this model. I like bullpups because they are short and easy to handle so I will put up with the limitations of a trigger linkage. is this the worst of both worlds or the best. I can't tell.
