Vulcan Tactic Groups at 100yds

Here's three groups I shot at 100yds a couple of days ago. Not perfect weather but the winds has laid to just maybe a off and on 5-8mph from right to left. I think the bottom two groups (if you rotate the pictures to the right) were evident that the wind was still effecting the pellet flight.

Regardless of wind drift, even if you had 1.5" groups at 100 yards that is awesome shooting. Nicely done, that Vulcan sure is a shooter!

Nice shootin Jimmy! Tis the windy season in New Mexico, even early mornings can be windy in March. That is a cool rifle.

Scotty, I'm shooting Kings at 900fps. Yea Doc tis the season, supposed to blow again tomorrow 25-35. Ronald, I may follow your advise, my barrel gets dirty really fast, I pulled 3 wet patches through it this evening and they all had lots of lead flakes. I can definitely tell when it's time for a cleaning.

Jking nice job, you should up your game and start shooting a full clip for your group testing. My Tactic is not that tight at 100 yards yet, still looking into that. Believe I'm getting 2 - 3 inches on average with kings, MK I, MK II, AA, and Baracudas.

I'll try that Ginuwine if the wind ever stops blowing around here. I did try some Benjamin Domes and they were a no-go... so they went on down the road. I need to sort some 25.4's and see if that helps any at all. The sorting I've done in the past didn't seem to make any difference as far as I could tell but it might with this gun.

I haven't cleaned mine for a long time now and it's still shooting really accurate. Some barrel like to stay clean but mine likes to stay nasty.
