Vulcan side lever mod

Hi

Just have to say how pleased I am having installed the Brazilian made biathlon lever mod . This makes the Vulcan from a very good gun into an excellent one. This mod makes the gun so quiet to load, smooth in operation and fast. A real game changer. Think Evgeny at AGN is missing out not offering this.

There's a good write up over on Talon Forum under bull pups and then Vulcan. A lot of it is 3D printed plastic but they are discussing a metal version or upgrade. Sounds good though and it seems to be working well, just the complaints of plastic material.

Yes it is part plastic part metal. But the moulded side plate is now fine, as it takes no load and now looksice no issue. The lever is fine and strong and works so smoooooooth.
Do you self a big favour and get one.
I have no connectionwith this trader.

May do that after the metal version comes out. I have my Tactic cycling real smooth as it is. I bet the side leaver would be the icing on the cake though.

They posted a aluminum version over on TAG, now if it gets anodized finished finish I might just try one.

I had one of the original plastic printed ones, was me that posted the pics of the up Close defects with my side plate.

It seems I was unlucky with the side plate cover on mine as everyone else has said theirs is nicer looking. But then it's only the visuals and I can sort that when I get chance.

It is a great mod though and totally transforms the Vulcan. My only gripe about the gun was the original bolt cocking and at night it was terrible trying to remain stealthy. Myself and my mate (who has a Vulcan) had also experienced loading the gun and the hammer not catching due to not pulling the bolt back correctly. Obviously our fault but it's easily done with the original cocking when you're trying to be slow and quiet and then you've got to take the mag out to cock it otherwise you load two pellets.

With the side lever there is no doubt about cocking and you can even hear the hammer setting now as it's a lot quieter to cycle.

Best mod I've ever done on any gun.

If you go on the TAG forum, there is an entire thread on this. So far the seller seems reliable and he made some changes to the design.
