Vulcan 3 tuning

It’s a .25 500mm barrel. Each caliber and barrel length will need its own particular best setting for what you want to achieve. @Emu is referring to his .30 which is a 700mm if I’m not mistaken.

Why did you switch to a Huma? Do you have the plenum in the XL config or the standard size?

If in standard, you’ll need a higher reg pressure for good power output.

Reg creep up and down. As far as which way to put plenum i haven't decided which is best for my needs yet. I'm just really wanting it for hunting using pellets. So doesn't have to be to hot

I put the regulator in the rear side.

In the front side I noticed the regulator external O'rings to be marked in two points (not good at all).

I also changed the factory regulator for a Huma one....BUT: With the Huma regulator I notice that maximum fill should not be above 3500 psi or the regulator do not regulate and fpe drop dramatically!!!!
That means that more pressure prevent the hammer to open correctly the valve. But at 3500 psi filling, my V3 works perfectly.

The factory regulator of my V3 .177 works perfectly if I fill the rifle at 4,000 psi.

With JSB Hades 44.7 grain about 1100 fps. Is what I have used becaus of better accuracy at ethical hunting distance (less than 90 yards).

I already posted that I took a white tailed deer and a wild turkey last month with that configuration.
I plan to go turkey hutting this spring here in Michigan. Have a fx crown in 22 cal plan to use a light slug would that work?
