Airgun Technologies Vulcan 3 500mm .177 dilema.

I have not found yet the best ammo for this rifle.

Jsb pellets in 8 and 10 grains are shot accurately but wind affect them a lot.

NSA .177 slugs deal better with wind but some flyers.

Jsb 13 grains not much accuracy....

Has any one tried the NSA .178 slugs?
VK make sample packs of 50ct you can try. And he makes them in .1771 as well as .178

H&N .1775
JSB KO .1776
Griffin .177

I also have a bunch of slugs if you want to try some out.

How often do you clean the barrel?

Thanks a lot !

I have never clean a barrel of my PCP's.
Then that may be your problem, at least in .177 you NEED to clean the barrel every once in a while. With my U2 600mm .177 unchoked barrel, I do it every 200ish rounds? That barrel gets NASTY, especially when I use NSA. They're are small slivers of lead in the patch. .177 is prone to fouling especially with slugs, more so if you use NSA as it is not pure let with the antimony that is in it.
