VULCAN 2 .177 REGULATING

Hi

I am from Cyprus and i just bought the Vulcan 2 .177. We cannot allowed from law to have .20 or higher pellets here to my country. I never had a pcp and i read a lot at forums about regulators, hammer springs, valves etc because i like to have knowledge about that i m doing. I had the Diana 56TH spring piston and I use to shoot the jsb 10.34gr with extremely good results at 70-80 meters that i like to shoot. Now i want to try the H&N piledrivers 21gr on my new Vulcan2. Is it possible to shoot at 870-900fps with that pellet with some modifications on my air rifle? I m going to buy the huma regulator and i read that they ask you if you have a preference about the bar settings that you want to set the regulator. Help please.???

Thanks

Hi Nikolas,

I have Vulcan 2 tactic. It is a very accurate rifle. I have it in .25 I would suggest you shoot it and see how it performs. A ragged hole group at 60 yds is about as good as you can ask for. I have 20 and 30 rounds into the same ragged hole. It is shooting at maximum velocity for the 25 and 35 gr JSB's for the extreme accuracy. Or very close to it. I get a very good shot count with the existing regulator.

If you decide to go ahead with the regulator, let us know how it goes, I would be interested in seeing what you discover, and a comparison with the existing Reg.
