My Texan 457 is my loudest one I own . I would say it's about like shooting a single shot .410.

But I think that Ted Nugent has a 20mm. Airgun that was called the elephant gun I never heard it shoot but I bet that's it is pretty loud .

Easy... my Hatsan Bullmaster. About every 5th shot when it jammed, I would curse up a loud storm that shook nearby buildings.

on a more serious note, Quackenbush 308... Texans... and probably my modified Condor Arrow launcher

Nothing is louder than a Texan regarding air rifles.

They are all air powered cannons that put numbers down the others fail to equal.

The 82 cal XP isnt any louder FWIW

The big bores are undoubtedly loudest, but in the .25 and under category I submit the Gamo Hunter Extreme which produces a lot of noise - which is good, because it doesn't produce hits, so if it didn't produce noise it wouldn't be productive at all. I have unmuffled .22 rimfires that are quieter.

In the very early 90's I shot an AR-6 from Korea, it wasn't called Evanix then, and it was in .22 and shot 26gr pellets. It was so loud that I basically wrote off PCPs until just a couple of years ago watching Ted's videos. Things have really changed since then.

I only heard one pcp gun so far, being new to the sport. So my vote wont weigh much. My Max 357. I had no idea it was so loud when I bought it. I have to run a chop saw when my neighbors landscapers are cutting his lawn on Fridays to use it for 30 mins, so not to draw attention. I am waiting now for my AEA HP in 22 to get here anyday to really enjoy the sport.

My Steyr 110 lg before the AZ shroud was my loudest gun, and after the shroud it’s my quietest gun.

For me, the Sheridan EB pistol proved just too loud for home use, even when compared to Crosman pump pistols. Probably due to its shorter, low friction barrel releasing the pellet too quickly before exhausting all the gas. Its venerable big brother Sheridan C at 17ftlbs would go off like a Rimfire on 8 pumps but would do both sides of a rats shoulders at 8 yards.
