I have on on my 308 on air rifles I prefer scopes with a closer parallax than 25 or 20 yards. But if all your shooting is longer they are fine

I have one (FFP) on my 7-08. Got a nice ‘lope at 230yds with mine last season. I like it on that gun.

I have both of these scopes, both have great glass, very very close in clarity, both have tremendous warranties. If I have to by another scope I would get the Athlon, I would save a couple of hundred bucks.

I have both as well and advised you buy athlon and save some $$$

Thanks everyone, very tough decision! I see that the Ares BTR (Moa Ret) is couple hundred/ounces less in weight difference also. Since i already have a Midas TAC think ima give the PST II a try. Thanks again!!
