Vortex Viper pst gen ii vs Element nexus?

Please share that how do you compare Vortex Viper pst gen ii with all three models of Element scopes.

I am not sure how this compared scope will go , But I got a couple Vortex viper scopes with Japan glass that are bad as s , I got one for sale that I will run the add, I did not have the box for it so I low balled it for 250, I paid over 500 for it on sale, Smoken deal..

The VORTEX was very good in it's day, a bit old hat now! the ELEMENT TITAN is exceptional value for money, the NEXUS? will if you were going to spend that amount then the NIGHTFORCE SHV is the same money as is the new ZIESS CONQUEST 6-24 V4, both have exceptional glass for the money!

I also have the HELIX in FFP & SFP, HAWKE killers I call them! but whilst great value for money, VS the VORTEX DBT they arent in thr same league image wise of course.

Vortex Viper PST II are a great value for the $. I don't have any experience with Element but looking at specs the Helix is similar in length and weight. The Titan is HUGE and heavy at 15" and 39 oz! The Nexus is several hundred dollars more expensive.

I would rather consider a Sightron, Nikko or Falcon. Why mess with unproven stuff?

I will say up front that I cannot compare these because I have never been behind the Elements. That being said, the PSTII and Nexus should not be in the same league.

The PSTII was good years ago, but the competition has caught up big time, and there are many scopes I could choose over it. The Nexus is Japanese and so the quality should be much better. The Titan should be the closest competitor to the PST. The Helix is more entry level and should not be as nice.

Of the 3, the Titan is the only one I have been tempted to try.

The VIPER PST Gen2s are from the Phillipines not Japan.

The Helix and Titan aren't clear all the way to max power.

The Nexus is boarderline clear at max power.

Too bad you arent able to buy a cheap Alpha6 and compare glass side by side with the VIPER PST Gen2 for yourself.

Some people claim that Helix and Titan are as good glass as Leupold vx3 and Nexus is better than Nightforce NX8



I thought there may be some of you who had compared Element scopes with Pst gen ii as I have only pst gen ii to judge.

There's NO WAY that the Helix or Titan is comparable to a Leupold VX3 nor the Nexus comparable to the Nightfirce NX8.

I wouldn't have returned all 3 models of Element scopes if that were the case.

I still have my NX8 and all my VX3s thank you...

If you have the cash to blow and insist on spending the money buying a Chinese made scope then go buy a NEW HAWKE FRONTIER. It's clearer and brighter than the VIPER PST Gen2 since you aren't able to buy an Alpha6 due to US export restrictions.

The new Hawke Frontiers are the clearest high dollar Chinese scopes I have ever looked through.

You would think they were made in Japan...
