Vortex scopes?

I know if you email just about any scope companie they will say that their scopes are springer rated buy we all no this to be bs most of the. That being sad anyone had luck with vortex scopes on magnum springers. If so please share your thoughts. Thanks

I have two specimens of their lower line, the Crossfire 4-12. 

One of them has been on a couple different springers without any issues. The most energy output I had was right under 13fpe, but, I'd guess that 13fpe is harsher in my thin air than 13fpe down at sea level.

Got the Diamondback 4-12-44 on my HW 77 and its holding up so far, got around 1000 shots on it.

I have 2 Vortex Diamondback 4-12’s. One is on a .25 cal Diana 52 shooting at 26 ft/lbs and that scope has been bulletproof with over 5,000 rounds on it. I’m not sure if the Crossfires are magnum rated.

Vortex also has one of the best warranties and customer service you will ever find.

Vortex scopes are springer rated. Vortex also states the vip warranty is still good when the scope is used on spring airguns. So if you have an issue they will fix the scope or replace it for free and no questions.

I know there are guys here that have put Vortex scopes through thousands of firing cycles atop "magnum" springers with no issue. And as already been mentioned, Vortex has one of, if not the best warranties out there. I just bought a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12 power for an RWS 34 myself. From others experience with them....I'm pretty confident about it.

My RWS 34 .22's were breaking popular airgun rated scopes left and right. They are not magnum spring guns but they will find weaknesses in budget airgun scopes. A member here suggested trying a Vortex 4-12X CrossFire II. I have 5700 shots fired on one with no problems so far, the other is new with only 30 shots. (bad weather). Buy one with confidence. If one ever breaks you will get another with no questions asked and no BS. Their VIP warranty is the best in the industry.

I have used Vortex Diamondback 4-12×40 AO scope and some other models of Diamondback scopes on magnum springers and these proved to hold perfect zero.



Their warranty is great.

I always but Vortex.
