Vortex Diamondback ffp - Inside the Box

Below are a few unboxing pics of the new, Vortex Diamondback 6-24X50 ffp scope.

1st thoughts:

=> Great packaging, includes sunshade, bikini covers, cleaning cloth, and manual

=> Clicks feel solid and very easy to hear

=> Looking through the scope was bright and clear to 20x, seemed blurry >20x (holding it in my hand)... again, hard to tell with it not mounted

I'll give it a shakedown this weekend.

Hmm... good question Matt. Still undecided. 

I might try it on the Wildcat... however, I really dig my little 3-9X33 Leupold on the Cat. If not the WC, it'll go on the Regal.

I'd say the thickness is less than my SWFA 3-15X42 ffp. I'll give it a look and compare the two tomorrow.

Fantastic - so Vortex was wrong about this scope not having a sunshade!!! That's great news!!!

Got mine too. I got to shoot it a little and run it through it's paces. Not much to complain about. Especially for $255!
