Vortek PG2 kit question

The stock spring will not fit the Vortek guides. (Vortek spring is smaller in diameter). You can get the TBT guides from air rifle tuning.com that will fit your fac spring. I have the Vortek SHO and the 12fpe kit and found them to be good but I now am using the TBT guides with the fac spring and ARH piston and breech seals with very good results. Highly recommend the TBT guides with the fac spring.

It is my understanding that US sold models are not FAC, as in, not 12pfe. And that the standard 12fpe kit is for those US customers that want that configuration for their US spec'ed rifles.

I thought I read that the SHO kit gives you as much as 17pfe.

So what is the realistic stock fpe of a US model in .22 caliber?

On Pyramyd Air, they give .22 specs of 755fps with an 11.9gr pellet. Using those figures I can plug them into the formula to get fpe, but isn't that a very light pellet for a .22? Who shoots an 11.9gr out of a .22 caliber? Seems misleading. I'm seeing mostly 15.x - 18.x being used with the .22.

Thanks

"Butch"FAC is over 12fpe.
Ok, I see what you're saying. In the UK, they are limited to 12fpe. Anything over that they have to acquire an FAC cert.. So any air gun I see that says it's an FAC model means it's at least 12 or higher then, right?

If an ad description doesn't mention FAC, then I assume they either are omitting that info for whatever reason or the gun is sub 12fpe. So I'm left with not knowing what it is I'm looking at.
