I'm having some great expectations on that myself!!! The feel and accuracy of your favorite springer with a super fast and straight back shot cycle...wonder if it will compare to my Theobens at all? Looks well thought out ! I'm itching to try it...Lol. The HW97 kit is the one I'm wanting to try...hopefully that one comes next.
Its gonna turn your HW into an RX gun. I personally have a very hard time reliably hitting things I aim at with my RX and HW90 guns. I do have a few 100% UK Theoben gas ram guns that are easy to shoot accurately. YO!
My hw30s is tuned to around 7 fpe, wouldn't want an extra 12 pounds of cocking effort for 1 fpe in gain. At the end of the day it's a gas ram which I'm not a fan of (noise, recoil, and scope issues).
Interesting product. I’m happy with my regular spring powered HW30. I’d definitely try it as a “reviewer” if provided to me, doesn’t interest me enough to buy it though.
Will wait till that discussion gets interesting here, as you won’t catch me dead over there.
I wonder if the Hw77 is on the cards? The ram would definitely remove the twange and buzz and being a heavier rifle imo would improve the shooting experience. My Benjamin Titan requires much less effort to cock then my Hw77 and that is probably due to the lessor powered Gamo gas ram i put in it. The Titan now pushes out 14.65 grain pellets at around 700 fps which to me is plenty powerful enough for hunting. I’m definitely looking forward to the outcome.
Anyone know what moderator that is? Looks really on scale with the R7. I don't have a YouTube account to ask the question in the comments section.
Interesting that he got higher FPS with less perceived cocking effort.
Also, did he say the previous chrono results were with a completely stock R7 spring? I'm letting my boys video chat with a group of friends during this Covid quarantine & things are a bit noisy in the house.
