Vortek a Ruger?

I hope this is in the right place:
*looking to solidify my research*
Found online that my ruger impact max elite is just a clone of the diana 34
While they obviously differ externally; I'm guessing that they mean internally.

Sooooo
I've read about people using vortek kits? *lots of threads on them and I got confused and flustered; ended up making this post
Looked into them and found one for a diana 34

Ok

My question(s)
Are my above statements and research true?
*are they compatible?
What does installing those kits do?
Is it worth it?
*mine isn't broke so I don't wanna fix it*
Would I gain anything from leaving it stock/kitted?
What would you do?

I would like to buy a new ruger*exact same*in case I fail horribly at my first internal installjust gotta budget it out

Hello Mr. Toasty.
I don't own a Ruger impact max elite. So take this with a grain of salt. Like you, I did my research online (mine was very brief).
I used to own a RWS 34 spring powered...good gun but traded it away for a laser range finder.
It looks like your Ruger is a gas piston and in general the latching system to the trigger is very different between gas piston vs spring piston.
BUT
Diana does make the RWS 34 powered by spring or gas piston. Their new EMS34

However, the Vortek kit that you looked at for the RWS 34 is designed for a spring powered piston rod latching system. Tom of Vortek clearly states the kit is not designed for the new EMS34

So I don't think that kit would work.
But call Tom at Vortek to confirm
unless others with more experience can chime in regarding this issue.

Now on the off chance that I am completely wrong (my wife has reminded me ad nauseam that I'm not perfect), and they are compatible and the Vortek kit will fit, I would just bite the bullet and get the higher quality RWS 34 (invest in quality and longevity) instead of spending money ($89) trying to refine an inferior product. (I know that's harsh) but your money, your gun, your call.

I tried one. The tune didin't help it. It got quieter, but still not accurate.
