I have a firewood pile about 15 to 20 yards from my deck & my wife's bird feeder sets next to this pile. There are any number of Voles that hide in the wood pile & like to sneak out and get the bird feed that falls from the feeder. This is fast shooting as they don't stay out very long but I have managed to take 5 in the last two days. The side focus Hawke scope is excellent for this close shooting as I normally shoot out to 25 to 35 yards. This is beautiful 65 degree weather to spend a couple of hours with your coffee and favorite air rifle plinking away.
