Anyone have experience adjusting the reg on the Vixen? I'm looking to drop the pressure for lower power shooting. I'm assuming CCW to lower?

No i think CCW will increase power/ pressure, at least that is how it is on my Maverick, i think CW is the way to go.

Generally it works as plingpling described. CCW usually backs the seat away from the piston, increasing the gap between them, requiring the piston to travel further to reach the seat. That means the pressure has to climb higher (i.e. higher setpoint) before it puts enough squeeze on the spring/Bellevilles to close it off.

Thanks guys. My thinking was backwards. Anyways I did adjust it and turns out I have too much hammer spring to lower the pressure to where I'd like it to be. But I don't feel like cutting the spring yet so I ended up raising the reg pressure slightly so using the hammer spring I dropped it to 640-650fps with 16gr JSBs. Seems very consistent over the chronograph surprisingly still. ES over 12 shots was well under 10fps. Might just leave it there. Shoots damn good also with dime size groups at 45yds.

Yesterday i tried to adjust the regulator pressure and i messed up everything.
In order to set it at 100 bar or a bit less what should I do?
Also, to lower down the pressure, i should turn the screw cw or ccw?

Just to revisit this thread . To lower the reg pressure turn the screw CW , CCW to increase pressure . The screw to drain the gun is 2.5mm allen .

Ayant une vixen long 5,5mm et trés heureux, je voudrais tirer des limaces de 18/21grains .
La difficulté de trouver en Europe des limaces plus légère.
J’ai du mal à comprendre pour augmenter la pression du régulateur, tourné au maximum dans le sens horaire il est fixe, si je comprend bien je dois le tourner dans le sens inverse horaire.
Donc il se dévisse et cela suffit ?
Jai effectue la manipulation cela n’est pas flagrant également augmenter la pression du ressort de marteau mais avec des plombs de 16 grains je n’arrive pas au-dessus de 900 fps
J’ai commandé un ressort de marteau plus fort, à voir
