Has anyone tried putting white out on the back of your pellets inside the skirt so you can see them better? I tried it and it works for me. Great for sighting in a new scope and hunting. When the sun is to your back they really glow.

Hajimoto did a video of how he does that to make them easier to see in his videos. I haven't tried it myself.

How about orange or red maybe white is the best. yellow even. ? Great idea. Shooting at pigeons I can see the pellet some times. Really helps dope the wind and elevation if you can see them. I'm going to paint some and see. I'm thinking yellow. Do some white and yellow and see. Might be affected by the direction of the light?

You are correct. I found the video on YouTube of him doing this very thing. And I thought I had come up with a new idea! As far as painting them different colors you need to paint them white first let dry then paint day glow , fluorescent yellow or orange.

The range I shoot at is back lit every 10 yards out to 120.
The back of a .25 pellet shines and you can see it’s travel all the way down, very handy when tuning to identify spiralling.

I get the odd one i can see too, its pretty amazing that the eye can even see something going 900fps. But i guess being on the exact plane of the pellet flight helps. I like the white out idea!
