Anyone know of any shoot contests or air gun expo in Virginia or North Carolina? Or a why to see what is coming on the horizon Looking to get involved in some competitions

Field Target is growing in NC:
Tar Heel Airgun Club http://www.thagc.com/ hosts a match monthly right at the VA/NC line either near Roanoke Rapids (eastern NC) or Ennice (nw NC).
CCGC hosts FT monthly matches near Burlington (northern central NC).
MAC has a monthly match near Mooresville, NC.
So usually there are 3 matches/month in NC. Come out and play! The folks are friendly and glad to help new shooters. Be forewarned FT is addictive. There are some loaner guns that can be reserved in advance, so don't spend money until you have a good idea what you really need.
There is also an annual airgun show in Hickory, NC in October.

good info thanks. I looked on the site and don’t see and 2019 events on schedule. I will definitely keep and eye out for things. I am assuming max distance is 100 yards ?
