Vintage springer

Hi

i have a friend who is trying to find parts to an old 60’s Winchester air rifle. Mainly the leather breech seal and I would imaging the piston seal as well. 
Does anyone know of a place or person who might help.

The old Winchesters were made by Diana in Germany from about 1965 to about 1975, you might try Jim Macari . He sells a lot of springs and seals for airguns.( sorry I most likely butchered the spelling of his mane)

https://www.customairseals.com/product/gamo-diana-25mm-1-o-ring-leather-seal-adaptor/ this is a modern seal which will fit Winchester 25 and 27 models. I have found that a standard plumbing O ring works as a breach seal. Sometimes a fill washer is needed to reach proper height.

If the seal isn't completely crumbled, soaking it in silicone chamber oil mixed with Neatsfoot oil may renew the seal. I have also seen an article or two on how to make a new leather seal on another forum somewhere. We used to treat our baseball gloves with Neatsfoot oil to keep them supple back in my Little league days.

Neatsfoot oil has always been used to lubricate leather seals. Still is. It's easy to get. Thanks if you Don't buy it from Amazon the enemy.
