My 1970s crosman revolver came with this co2 it is metal with a dark gray plastic cover of some sort. Why did they rap it with this and is it the original 1970s co2 because I never seen a co2 like this? Thanks all

Hi Keith, I've been shooting airguns( co2, pumps, springers, etc) for 50+ years and I've never seen this. Interested in what other members know. Ron.

Co2 cartridges are used in a variety of different ways. From medical to industrial. Some are the same size as standard airguns use.

I'm gonna speculate that Co2 cartridge represents an industry or organization willing and able to spend FREELY, because costs are passed along at obscene mark-ups to customers or citizens. So the cartridge probably came from the medical field or a government agency!

I just googled the numbers on it and joek is the big winner! Shink tubing. Mystery solved. I can finally sleep at night.
