Rifles are not always in stock and some they only keep in low quantities. I personally do not recommend making payments as there is the possibility of your rifle selling to someone else as "cash is Kiing". Many times you can place the order and there can be a wait due to the manufacturer behind on production. Some have waited months to get the rifle they wanted. In my case the wait was a blessing as I order a rifle and there was a 3 month delay. In that time I had the chance to shoot a similar rifle and did not like it. The dealer let me out of the deal as he was able to get another buyer.
Air rifles are not like going to Cabela's. There is a limited number of buyers and sellers. It is a small market so there can be some glitches here and there. I will say the wait is ususally worth it. So until then, I would start looking for your next rifle! LOL
Best of luck,

Purchasing High end air guns is lot like foreign, custom car work- it may look like a sku to you and me, but to a dealer, it's overhead in a risky environment. I used to be into very fast motorcycles, and for every go fast part: the getting-installing- and making it work was a process.
Same deal here- the advantage to air guns is that they are exciting without breaking laws. Mid price air guns can be purchased relatively seamlessly from online dealers, but anything out of the ordinary or new in the product stream will remind you of the old days, ordering from a catalog.
Its remarkable that the more you spend, the longer the wait and perhaps the greater the communication gap there is...

"hynzie"Yote who are u to single me out
He was actually defending you because Calberry was being anal retentive about your punctuations. There is a lot of subtle humor in this thread and it gave me a good laugh. Enjoyed the triple comas you put to essentuate the point. Yote was just pulling Calberry's leg for correcting you. Then Tonyl corrected him for not using a period at the end of his statement.

No ill was intended, so, I believe it's all in good fun!

Doc
PS- punctuations do help to read! LOL
