Video showing the accuracy difference b/t damaged pellets

I agree with you jps2486, you show clear indication of it in that thread. 
His results show the same phenomenon, look at the 3 circled flyers in the right group. I believe his test was just to demonstrate the difference in results between head (left shotgun-pattern) or skirt (right circled holes) being damaged.

I did a similar experiment where I only damaged the skirts on the pellets

As pretbek has already stated,"The skirt gets blown to the correct shape by the air pressure, but the damaged head will always not engage the barrel properly."
If the skirt is bent, it will still shoot very decently....A damaged head is quite another story....I usually shoot the damaged skirts and trash the damaged heads.
