Looking for suggestions on a twin cylinder compressor. Not vevor. They jerked me around for over a month to get my money back on a two month old compressor. No I did not abuse it. Now that I finally got my money back looking to replace it.
While it is a single cylinder, the GX E CS4 Is what I ended up buying. I bought it near the end of covid and its served me well.
I have just over 60hrs on it (measured with a vibration hour meter) and all I've had to replace was the water pump. It cost $12 on amazon and was easy to replace.
I think I payed $700ish with shipping to HI, to my door. I bought it directly from the manufacturer. They promptly answered my emails as well.
Would do business with them again.

Tuxing

I have the 042 model with added cooling. I also have the GX cs4i with added cooling. The GX cost almost twice as much.
but only use to keep it running occasionally cause it’s 5 times slower. Granted I do have 2 of the larger gold filters on it but the Tuxing
has these also albeit the smaller ones.
I’ve only bought a couple tanks from them thanks

Oh yeah, no argument that the twin cylinder water cooled compressors are much faster.. for that matter, even the single cylinder YH is way faster. But I've been down that road and have both types now taking space in my junk pile.
I will say that I do have a true YH that is 3+ years old now and runs like new (knock on wood). I filled tanks for the first year with it. I figured that I paid for the extended warranty, why not? After that I stopped using tanks because all my shooting is at home.
I picked up that lightly used CS3 and it has served me well for filling 3k guns direct and the YH was used for 4.5k guns.
Recently I was able to put the funds together to get the CS4 and filter so I went for it.
I'm going to go back to using tanks on the bench from time to time so the YH will take on that role until it no longer can. I just serviced it and replaced the oil with Royal Purple compressor oil. If it does puke on me I will consider rebuilding it because kit are still available and cheap. Matter of fact, come to think of it, I have a basic rebuild kit on hand.
The CS4 will now be my over 3k gun filler and the CS3 will continue it's duties at 3k and under. Spreading the work load like this should get the most from all 3 compressors.

Every time I get funds to buy another compressor to lighten the load on the other it pukes n I put it on the new one. I thought this time I was getting one that would last awhile but not the case.

BTW... I plumbed the YH to the fresh water tap from the sink in the shop and it drains in the sink. That water is ice cold. I can adjust the flow to a nice slow flow but more than a pump would put out. It's about half the flow of a shower. I can run the compressor in 20 minute sessions and the temp never even reaches 120f. I think this is the key to making these things last.

That’s a good idea
Also get the moisture separator from the website I think it's like $100 or $120 but it works extremely well at ensuring you get dry air! I have it paired with my GX CS4I and I love it, specially how quiet that compressor is.

I have one of the dryers. One of the first things I got. Thanks for the suggestion
