Veteran owners need a biathlon knob on our cocking levers...

That cocking lever is not easy to reach back there at the shoulder. A biathlon style cocking lever would be a great addition to this gun...make it a lot easier to grab that lever between shots.

I saw a picture of one that a guy machined...took him 8 hours to custom make the entire lever with a biathlon type knob on the end. Too labor intensive unless someone has a CNC mill at their disposal. However, I'm thinking a 3D printer might be able to come up with a "push-on" knob that would be slightly offset so the cocking lever wouldn't hit the frame when closing.

Anyone got an idea, a 3D printer, a CNC machine? Us Veteran owners could certainly use an after-market knob for our levers!!!

You're a good man Paps.......what we need is a cylinder 3/4" in diameter,1 3/4" long, with some means of staying away from the frame when the lever closes. A "push-in/glue-in" would be ideal, but the tolerances would need to be exact! Not much room between the lever and frame when it's closed...3/8"!

I could live with a knob that had a square side attached to the cylinder, so a "push-in" slot could be added, and still have strength to endure the cocking sequence. Would need to be made of the hardest printing material. Hope this helps! Thought...if such a square side were incorporated, the knob could be another 1/4" longer, or so.

Check this out, that is a view from the top of the lever. The black on the top of the lever is the knob the way I see it, It will have a slight offset. That is my start for my prototype. I will try to get a slightly bigger knob. for now it is 12mm (~1/2")
