Veteran Compact 22 at Work Graphic

I got this Taipan Veteran Compact 22 from a friend it's a little dinged up but shoots like a laser, I decided to change the scope more for daytime use to take care of the sparrow and squirrel problems here the latest, I was using the Predator Polymag 16 very destructive.

I want to clarify that my earlier comments were in admiration of the platform and not intended to be denigrating in any way.

That Veteran has been through some stuff. And still making head shots on squirrels. It's just awesome to see somebody obviously considered that gun a death-delivering tool to pests and it has been used as such. Kinda cool to think of it knocking around an old farm truck or ATV, hot and cold and dusty and dirty, and still just as trusty as day 1.

What you call "dinged up" are like scars, tells a story of what the gun has been through. And I mean that in a good way, similar to experience.

That thing looks like hell! I love it!

When someone mentions how tough and rugged bullpups are supposed to be, and then they are always on a bench on a bipod on a velour blanket, it's hard to take them seriously LOL

Lean and mean, killing machine with some honest use marks to show it's earned it's keep. I dig it. Enjoy it!
