Very slow air leaks?

Might be a simple fix but I still go by the advise the best car mechanic I've ever had gave me.... Does the it run and drive as it should? (I said yes) Then it's only going to get easier to find the problem as it gets worse. (I agreed and left).

Of course, car or airgun, it's going to break down eventually. But with evidence of a problem, the timeframe just became a little smaller on average.

Agree with Derrick ( @zx10wall ). Find that leak, it'll drive you crazy and will eventually get worse. Use the bleeder holes on the air pressure tube. Put a little dab of silicon grease over each hole, and that'll let you know if you have a leak at the gauge end of the tube, the regulator, or the breech end of the tube. If its not one of those then its pretty much got to be the valve or seat, or the gauge itself. I recently had a very odd slow leak on my Cricket mini. It would very slow (overnight) leak down, but stop losing pressure at the reg. set pressure. Turns out the reg. itself had an internal leak... I'm referencing troubleshooting for the Cricket/Vulcan/Taipan/EDgun type of airguns, but similar action can be taken for others like FX and Daystate.

I guess what's making me lean towards "not worrying about it" is the fact that I don't get a chance to hunt or do pest control so I just plink. I mainly just shoot this gun in my backyard. Secondly, I don't have to worry about air, so it's no big deal filling it up from 100 bar when I get back around to shooting it. Thirdly, I have other PCPs that I would take hunting if I got a chance.

Good grief, send me the gun, I’ll fix it. It’s bothering me from 850 miles away. Make it stop Norm

I have a P-rod that it took me 2 years to get around to fixing a leak on :(
