I'll be needing a scope for a Hatsan Jet1 I ordered. I want something very light in keeping with the Jet's light weight. Any suggestions?
Thanks Kim

I have astigmatism so red dots look like exploding stars to me.How bout' a crosman red dot?
I don't need a lot of magnification since most of my shooting will be done in my backyard at about 22 yards.what sort of magnification range are you looking for?
I have the bugbuster on my walther reign 2 and like it. It's a little heavy though with the steel rings that it comes with.UTG Bugbuster 3-9x32
Or a cheap 4.5X20 Scope from Aliexpress, they are very light, but no AO.
Sorry to hear that, I had a Sutter 2X red dot on my Crosman 357 revolver, before the valve in it went.I have astigmatism so red dots look like exploding stars to me.
Thanks Shomer. I found a cheap scope that's less than 3/4 pounds on Amazon. It's a CVLIFE 3-9x40. I mounted it on my Jet1 yesterday and the eye relief is perfect for shooting as a carbine. I'll see how it zeros and shoots today.BESTSIGHT Rifle Scope 2-8x20 Illuminated Compact Tactical Includes 20mm & 11mm Scope Rings.
A not too bad very small cheap optic $54.00

It didn't work out very well. No AO so could not focus on target at 13 yards. Might have worked better at distance but I didn't try it outside at my 22 yard range. I replaced it with the BugBuster 3-9x40 AO which isn't much heavier nor much costlier. How did it do? Is it holding zero?
I had some Amazon gift cards and ordered a Vector Veyron. At 18 or so ounces and some good feedback from AGN, Ill give it a try. Plus free returns on AmazonIt didn't work out very well. Does anyone have any experience with bestsight ? I had enough rewards points on a card to order the 4-16 compact scope. Guessing it’s a typical cheap China clone scope but are they particularly bad? Figure worth a shot for 49 bucks and can always send it back. I sent back two monstrum scopes as they were 200 dollar junk. Had some better luck with UTG for sure. Hopefully this will pan out.
Glad to hear as that is the exact one I ordered. Doesn’t sound bad for 50 dollars . Will report back once I get it and use it. Thank you.if it helps,
i just recently picked up a bestsight 4-16x44 ao full size,
and its surprisingly pretty clear,
reticle is decent with lots of aim points,
although apparently i am a complete slave to FFP,
and am not allowed to love SFP scopes anymore lol
clicks are a bit mushy but move smoothly and track well,
comes with dovetail & picatinny rings
(cheap but hey)
a sunshade and scope level too,
pretty damn good for 50 bucks imo.
it has claimed the spot of my favorite cheap scope.
heres the one i got.
