Can someone take or 4 the team and hided me BTB just for experiment-?
I'm not liable after your profile gets screwed up or slow after that though with irreversible damage that you have to ditch that profile and open a new one.

I can't even check your post history now it doesn't allow Bigtinboat as a possible spell check find option now as though you no longer exist in the database.

I no longer able to search you here at all not even any topics started nothing it's like you never existed. CAN'T search any related posts you teolued to tether like you vanished everything you posted in.

I only hid one member then my profile got so screwed up I was no longer able to be useful so I changed to a new profile.

Mine is just fine. All you have to do to find the members posts is sign out. You can't search, but I find duckduckgo MUCH better then ANY of the airgun forum search functions.

Hitting HIDED MEMBER button is like deliberately introducing a virus that never goes away even after you try and unhide.
I kinda laugh at ppl who used the HIDED MEMBER function based on first hand experience having to even ditch a profile after that.

You are slowed down because every time you try to query the database it has to do an extra check against the Hided Member table - which is probably not indexed or normalized properly.
Don't use the Hided Member button - use the Ignore Button that's in your head.

Shouldn't that actually speed up the search? if written correctly? If you have 10 members each having 10 posts then the search has to be done against 100 items. If you have 5 of those members hidden then the search should turn 50 of those into 5 resulting in 55 checks, no?

IDK allz I can say from my own experience when I hit HIDED MEMBER BUTTON I lost my dashboard entire history of Topics started and replies created so I literally went blind and couldn't search ANYTHING.
It then had all random garbled nonsense posts unrelated to me that filled up my own navigation dashboard. I couldn't even see anything to go back to reply to any topics started. Second worse to being blocked where there's NO FUNCTION.

I couldn't even tell if any of my posts had replies so I couldn't just leave ppl hanging.
Had to manually scroll all pages in chronological order daily top page to check everything that wasted a lot of time so I just said screw it.
I couldn't undo what I did after HIDED MEMBER. Then UNHIDED STILL ALL SCREWED UP.

That sucks if someone sold you a faulty gun and then is hiding electronically, or digitally I guess it is. I don’t get that hide feature, it seems to me using it is like choosing to not have all the information. Even if a bunch of the information is of no value, getting to see it gives you a more complete picture. Dishonesty is so ugly, hopefully it will work out positively, best of luck.
