Airforce Version 1 of the AF Safety

Recently sent an Email to AirForce regarding the Version 1 safety on my Condor. Many people will remember that safety was RIGHTLY notorious for firing when you took the safety off. The most common work around I have found was to REMOVE the safety . I searched and searched. I suppose I could have missed it but I found no OEM fix for the problem other than the V2 and it doesn't work in a V1 frame (apparently). So I sent the email, which was apparently ignored. At least I never received any response from the company.

This all begs the question, Was there ever a fix released for that trigger? I balk at removing the safety. I did that but I would rather have an operational safety on the rifle and apparently AirForce could give a rosey ratz arse about the problem at this late date? It is a miracle they are still in business after that fiasco.

Love the gun. Hate the service and the safety.

If there is an actual FIX for that shabby engineering I would appreciate hearing about it from ANYONE who has implemented it.

Thanks in advance.

I've not seen one. I think most folks simply removed it and not enough folks complained to warrant a factory fix to it. Still doesnt excuse the lack of response from AF.
I would call them instead of emailing if it bothered me that much. I was happy to rid mine of the safety anyway.

I may have too call them but if nobody knows of a fix then most likely they never did one. If they never did one, they don't want to talk to me. It is a miracle that nobody was hurt by that safety. I can't count the number of times I've had it fire upon release. That is why I finally just removed it. I will develop the habit of loading it and then de-cocking but now I am going to have two of them and I wanted to have them operate the same way. Different muscle memory on similar platforms is always an accident waiting to happen.

Like I said, love the rifle... Probably should have sold the Condor and used the extra to buy something else. Oh, well. Thanks for the advice.
