Anybody ever adjusted the hammer spring on a FX Verminator MK2? Not the extreme. I would like to hear the results. Thanks.

If I remember right, it’s impossible to overclock the JSB heavy more than 270 m/s on the 30 cm long barrel.

I use 15.9 and 18.1 grain JSB pellets at 820 and 780 feet per second respectively. I would like to get 860 feet per second with the 15.9 grain pellets. Thank you. It would be nice to see pictures. Scott

You’re right. 780 f/s it’s very low velocity for Vermi. By the way, I’ve got my one brand new from a dealer but the gun was not adjusted at all! It was not able to make a through hole in ¼ plywood)
So, give me 2 days, i need to shoot from my gun to drop off extra pressure from a tube. After that I’ll make a video for you how to get the spring.

Cool gun, i think the verminator uses the same action as a royale. So HST adjustment should be this 5mm hex at the back of the action. Probably has some loctite on it and would require some heat. I use plumbers putty to keep it in place after adjusting just smear it against the adjuster and threads. It doesn't move.
