Vector Veyron

After having a defective FFP version of this scope, I decided to give it another try so this time I went with the SFP scope and wanted to do it justice and say it's great. Clarity is very good, initial tracking check looked good, parallax change doesn't change poi. I noticed the parallax knob has SER screws and can be calibrated and changed. So I took my rangefinder and without looking at the distance on the knob but just making adj til no parallax error and to my surprise from 10 to 100yds was dead on with the markings. Nice attention to detail. My only complaint and a minor one at that, is the narrow fov, but I'm getting use to that.

I have two Veyrons in FFP and I wasn’t impressed at all compared to a Hawke at equal value. I bought them for me 22 and 25 PP700 in one swoop. Good to know the SFP is a better scope. I was really disappointed with mine, the center is the only area in focus, just off of it starts to blur the view down range. One is better than the other, but only slightly. I just use them for backyard pesting now, they’d be a constant annoyance if I had to use holdover with them
Vector was good and replaced it with a brand new one. The new one is better, but not perfect. This photo was taken with a cellphone, not perfect, but its an accurate representation of what I saw.

Own 4 VV, all FFP, mounted on PCPs, five remaining guns wear other brands. Working through the rotation of target work I'm always grateful when a VV shows up. Clear, sharp focus, bright sight picture and smooth functioning make this scope a pleasure to use. My Hawke, Bushnells, Aim Sport and Sniper scopes are fine but no comparison to the VV. First VV 6-24x44 (Non-IR) cost $196 to-my-door, most recent $261, wanted another but now $269, think Optics Warehouse (UK) is getting greedy. WM

That's the view I see through my WestHunter scope, currently not in use. Picture is of target I use, with VV all circles appear clear, bright and crisp throughout sight picture, adjusting focus brings all circles in focus together, none blurry, even at far corners. WM

I haven’t had IQ issues with multiple FFP Vector Veyron scopes that I own. The 3-12x44 Veyrons are good bang-for-your-buck scopes for short to medium-range hunting and plinking. I wouldn’t waste my money on another 4-16x44 IR Veyron. Only the center dot is illuminated and better can be had for the price point (MSRP). If you are a shooter reliant upon frequently dialing turrets, you may want to try another brand as my Veyrons have some slop in the turrets and I have no idea how they hold up long term to frequent dialing.
