Vector Veyron 3-12x44 sale for $103 and USO TS12x version for $349

8 days left on sale at DVOR.com

Never seen priced this low before.

People selling used Vector Veyrons for more than this sale price.

DVOR has a credit only return policy but at these low prices likely be able to resell on the classifieds for more $$$ like many tend to do.

Also worth mentioning

Vector Marksman 10x44 for $99

Hawke Vantage 2-7x32AO mil dot $85

Or Illuminated version $119

AIM Alpha 6 4.5-27x50 $192

Warne Vapor 30mm cantilever 20moa $45 sale ends in one day

BKL 304 double strap 1 inch silver $20 ends tomorrow

BKL 305 double strap $15 ends tomorrow

Many 20moa bases ends tomorrow

Way too many scope rings and mounts and bases to list ends tomorrow many well over half price.

I also noticed some of the Barra scopes on Dvor in today's email. I believe the Japanese made closeouts on Ebay have been well regarded here in the past.

Prices are anywhere from less than $40 to over $700 so if anyone doesn't have an account but is curious about the price on a specific model just ask. I have no idea which ones might be Japanese made buy I suspect the prices are higher than the Ebay deals of recent past.

I did finally make an order through Dvor. Item was packaged quickly and shipped but isn't arriving until Saturday. My first experience with them and so far so good.

the H30 and H20 series are made in China but excellent quality. The MP series are made in Japan and are amazing glass quality back when eBay has them for cheap. As much as love the Japanese Barra scopes I would not pay for the DVOR prices, they are literally 2-4x the prices I paid for mine. At those prices there are many better scopes depending on the features you are looking for. The glass in these scopes are superb and worth the asking price on DVOR but turrets and reticles are too specialized for powder burner hunting rifles.

@scouty: yeah they were amazing deals at eBay close out deals. BUT certainly not worth the prices listed. For $690 this is an excellent deal, not the newest shinny toys but extremely well made scope for 690 bucks.

The PST Gen2 glass is just as good if not a bit better than the Barra MP scopes but everything else is night and day better than Barra MP. The PST Gen2 suites airguns so much better in every way, granted they are designed for very different applications.

IMHO for the money the Viper PST Gen 2s are a let down in image quality even at these clearance prices.

I used to be a Vortex fan and their next level up Razors are way over priced.

The new FFP illuminated Sightron S Tacs with zero stops are much better buys bundled on sale deals or some times scope only from Camera Land NY.

The Athlon Midas and Ares Gen 2 series on up and Hawke H5 Side Winder and H7 Frontier have better glass than this series of Vortex.

So do the Meopta 5 and 6 series.

For that Vortex clearance money the Tract Tekoa series on up made in JAPAN with German Scott glass purchased through a Veteran or Law enforcement relative or buddy for 15% off direct from Tract can't be beat. You would need to spend probably close to double the money in order to compete with this brand.

They are in the next level of quality optics compared to the other brands in their price range and no dealer middle man mark ups.

They don't even do affiliate commissions like Arkens minimum 25% commission for dealer reseller sales and 15% for clicking affiliate YouTube reviewers buy through them links.

They don't need the shills to push their brand for monetary gain and in time more will know first hand how great Tract scopes really are.

Probably won't hear quality control complaints how excellent their life time warranty is.

If you have the option to buy Japanese or European or USA made scopes for the same price range as Chinese or Philippine or Korean made scopes you will see the sheer quality difference for your self.

Now if we can only get Japan to manufacture a PcP compressor.

I wanted to note that the highlighted portion above is bad advice and mounting scopes and returning them (for reasons other than defects) is a bad practice. Generally optics are accepted for refund or exchange based upon that fact that they have not been mounted. Some companies will accept them in used condition issuing a partial refund and/or assessing a restocking fee. If you have ever purchased something online, especially a scope, that was advertised as new but you see ring marks, fingerprints, and other evidence of use, this practice can be viewed as part of the reason. Workers in the returns department should catch used equipment returned for exchanges or refunds and deal with them accordingly, but sometimes don’t. I digress.

If you want to test a scope that you’re unsure about I suggest that you take it out of the package, go outside with it, and try using is as a monocular. Check your eye relief, clarity of glass, weight in your hand, feel of the turrets, etc. Be careful that you don’t drop or scratch the scope. If you’re more concerned about turret travel/box test, holding zero, re-setable zero, etc. I suggest watching reviews/videos and reading the specs. This approach has worked for me and I’ve had no issues with returns and I know I’m not screwing over the next consumer by returning scopes that I’ve altered in use trying to pass them off as unused. Whatever you decide, I think it best to comply with what’s outlined in a company’s return policy and to be mindful of who is responsible for return shipping and restocking fees. It’s extremely helpful to familiarize yourself with the return policy before purchasing from a company. Here is MidwayUSA’s return policy https://www.midwayusa.com/returns-policy
