Vector Veyron 3-12 SFP true magnification?

Would anyone happen to know at which magnification the Vector Veyron 3-12x44 SFP with the MPR-V10 reticle is true? Is it calibrated for 12x, or perhaps something else—like the Hawke Airmax Compact 3-12, which I believe is true at 10x?

There is a small dot at 10x on mine. The very limited literature says nothing about it.

Yes, thank you — I do find it odd that it’s not mentioned anywhere.

Fair enough for some, but it’s not always the case. I went to the small effort of testing it myself, and turns out the Veyron 3–12 is true at 12x, its highest magnification.

Probably 10x.

The other thing you want to be sure of is are the turrets 1/4moa or 1/10 mil.
If it’s moa 4 clicks will elevate 1.047 at 100 yards.
If it’s mil 10 clicks should rise 3.6” at 100 yards.

Make a target that has these measurements marked out. Use a rest, sand bags.

As I mentioned earlier, I ran the test — “probably” just wasn’t quite cutting it — and sure enough, it’s true at 12×.
