Vector Marksman 10x44mm gets heavier too!

One of my favorite scopes, for the money, is the fixed power Vector Marksman 10x44mm. It would seem that Vector wants to make it look a little more like a SWFA and this has added 3.7oz and .4" inches to the model. Opinions will vary on whether the new one looks better, but lighter/shorter is always better to me. If you liked the original better, there are still some around, move quickly. Optics Planet, with v.i.p. pricing, was selling these for $107 and this scope was a steal at that price. The links will show you the differences I am talking about. This is just an FYI for anyone who was thinking of getting one of these and would have wanted the original design.

Being brighter never hurts sales. I found it odd that they didn't even mention on their website that they changed anything. As far as the price goes, who can say, prices are so different depending on where you shop, that it is hard to say if there was a price increase or drop. The old models price range, at any given moment, was around $107 to $210. I was only at their website looking for a 3" sunshade when I noticed the change. Unfortunately, there's zero standardization for sunshades and finding ones that work are a pain. Any Vector Marksman 10x44 owners out there that know who's sunshade works on this scope? That information would be very appreciated. I have left the question at their website twice and never got an answer. I have also posted the same question twice at Optics Planet and they would never post it, or answer me directly. I don't exactly understand the conspiracy of silence over sunshades, just say yes or no, or post the thread pitch on all scopes.
