Both tested successfully in the field at 134yds.....they fly true at 944 fps (30gr) and 920fps (31.5gr).

Just tried the 33gr.....they didn't do as well for me. Super tight, nearly one hole at 25yds but opened up to 3" at 100.

Uncharacteristic for slugs in my experience, especially when compared to the VK 28, 30 and 31.5gr.... calm winds today even when the others did sub-moa in 10mph wind.

Too bad! In my last batch I made moa @100 but I run out and I couldn't not measure fps or anything and it was with my X modified. More are coming next week probably. I haven't try the 31.5

What's the heaviest slug that fits the magazine?

Anyone tried Rat snipers or know how to get them ?

3 more weeks left, they are installing a complete and new slug maker machines (or something like that) and they will be able to make millions a day. Talk with Michael over email want to test those suckers!

I'm not familiar with them, do you have a link?

So the 28s did just a little better than the 30 grain

is the shot string better with the 28 grain or the 30 gr.

Dale,

To be fair, I used a more solid bag under the grip than I usually do. Normally I use my sandsockgear bag but today I used a bag with lead shot in it.

I would bet the heavier slugs would do just as well with the same bag as these did today.
