Varmint Knocker 32.8 grain Slug and Taipan Veteran .25 Standard

I’ve been shooting the Varmint knocker Slugs that are made by D-RIG for about 1-1/2 months. My 25 Veteran likes the 32.8 grain and shoots them at about 870-875 FPS..I Confidently shot this squirrel today at 25 yards and I must say I found a slug that works great in my Veteran.. Makes a nice pop upon impact and squirrel is expired in about 5 seconds.

Good looking shot placement on that tree squirrel Hekk187 I would imagine that there was nothing 

remaining of the heart , I'm glad to hear that you gun likes Varmintknockers 32.80 large hollow points 

these are a devastating slug on small game and give off a loud POP sound upon impact .

Here is a 32.80 large hollow point that was retrieved from a 50 yard shot on a GS it was located 

just under the skin and the hollow point opened up 100% .

Have you checked them with a caliper, just wondering if they are .250 on the nose?

I did...and they were .250, but you could ask D-RIG he knows more about them than me.

Yes the slugs are exactly at .250" in diameter .

wow serious expansion with 860 fps must be pure lead , when you shot squirrels at 25 yards it did pass threw at this distance??

Great shooting. Those Varmint Knockers are excellent! That's a huge hole in the first one.
