Gun has heavy 115 grain hammer, power wheel low as can go, valve hat .166”. I know, I’m surprised but if I crank pre load or bigger orifice it’ll blow my tiny Tanto right off the barrel. I’m already way past the 800fps recommendation but it’s quiet.

All slugs made from Corbin dies, Just different makers.

Top one, 36 grain NSA Flat Base. Going 900fps punching through through first (14-16 gauge?) metal backstop. Extremely accurate as far as I’ve tried for now, 150 yards. Load a bit tight in stock Condor LW 24” barrel.

Bottom 3 new 28.5 RBT Griffins I’m trying. Fragmented but not enough weight to punch through. Accurate but calls for an adjustment.

I’m gonna test the 36 grain RBT Griffins right now.

I really thought shorter sidewall, less friction & lower weight would give me a higher POI from lightweight 28.5 RBT’s. Same elevation POI. Odd. They seat much easier than FB NSA 36. Possible blow by.

Top 36 grain NSA FB. Bottom two 36 grain RBT Griffins. Both very accurate from stock Condor barrel but 36 grain NSA FB has more penetration where Griffins seem to fragment more.

Just playing. Real test is when corn field is plowed over or fresh snow fallen.

The entire slug high BC has me. Even my Marauder can send 28-32 grain slugs and I want to get some lighter 18-21 .22’s if possible. Loving the day. Shot with full headwind enough to stand our big American flag straight out towards me at 90*.
